Sound Familiar

The business has grown. The brand hasn’t kept up.

  • The business has become harder to explain. New services, more people, new markets. The story has more parts than the old brand was built to hold.
  • The identity has fallen behind the work. The quality is there. The way the business looks still belongs to an earlier version of it.
  • Services, teams and locations speak differently. Side by side they read as several businesses rather than one.
  • The website shows a fraction of the capability. It was built for what the business did then, not what it can do now.

What We Bring Together

Good brands aren’t loud. They’re clear.

  1. Brand strategy

Find the focus and sharpen the story. What the business does now, who it is for and why it is worth choosing.

  2. Brand identity

Turn that direction into a distinctive visual system, developed across the applications the business actually uses.

  3. Websites

Carry the brand into a clear, usable digital experience your team can keep current.

Our approach

A clear way forward.

Whether we're refining your brand or building your next website, we start by understanding the business. From there, we shape a clear process around what needs to change.

Branding

The SHIFT process, from understanding the business through to an identity system ready for the world.

Good work is easier when you can speak directly to the person making it. DD Design is a small, independent studio led by me, Drew Kilpatrick. I stay close to every project, from the first conversation to the final detail, bringing strategy, branding and websites together so everything feels clear, connected and considered.

I’ve spent nearly two decades working across agencies and independently. That experience means I can see the bigger picture, get into the detail and keep the process straightforward.

When a project needs more hands, I bring in a trusted circle of writers, developers, animators and photographers. You get the right people around the work, with one clear point of contact and me guiding it from start to finish.
