The Mitch Churi Chat Show

Good chat deserves a good-looking stage. We gave comedian Mitch Churi’s YouTube and podcast show an identity with seventies swagger, a playful streak and enough personality to hold its own beside the host.

The Work

01 · Context

Old-school charm. Fresh airtime.

Mitch came to us with a show that needed to look as good as the conversation. The brief: capture the warmth of a seventies TV talk show, with enough polish for today’s screens.

Think welcoming, colourful and a little cheeky. The kind of identity that makes you want to pull up a chair.

02 · The idea

A very,
very long tail.

Every good chat goes off on a tangent. We gave the logo permission to do the same.

The script M stretches into a trailing line that wanders beyond the frame, borrowing a little from a microphone lead along the way. Behind it, oversized layers of yellow and orange bring the seventies swagger.

One distinctive letter, with plenty more to say.

03 · The system

Ready for its close-up. And its thumbnail.

A show identity has a few roles to play. Big enough to set the scene. Clear enough to spot in a crowded feed.

We built a flexible family of podcast covers, episode artwork, YouTube thumbnails and social templates. The oversized M brings them together, while guest names and photography keep each conversation feeling fresh.

For the smaller spots, the tail curls into a compact MCCS badge. Same personality. Less airtime.

04 · Merch and motion

The identity gets a speaking part.

That long line was never going to sit still. In motion, it stretches, snaps and springs into the M, giving the identity its own comic timing.

The brand reel takes it further, from a glowing neon sign to mugs, mic covers and keyrings. A little world around the show, with personality in every prop.
