What AI search is.
AI search tools answer a question in one reply instead of a list of links. To do that they read websites, business listings and what others say about you, then decide who to mention and how to describe them.
If your website is hard for them to read, or never says clearly what you do and where, you are easy to leave out. Search engine optimisation still matters. AI search optimisation, also called answer engine optimisation, builds on it so the answer tools can understand you, trust you and quote you.

Is it different from SEO?
It builds on SEO. The basics are the same: crawlable pages, clear titles and headings, good content. AI search adds a focus on stating plainly who you are, what you do and where, with structured data, so a tool can quote you with confidence.
Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend my business?
No. Nobody can promise what an AI tool will say. What we can do is remove the reasons it might skip you or get you wrong, and make your website the clearest source of truth about your business.
How long does it take?
The scan takes about a minute. Most fixes take days to a few weeks depending on your site. AI tools refresh what they know on their own schedule, so changes can take weeks to show up in answers.
Do I need a new website?
Usually not. Many fixes are made on your existing site. If the site cannot be fixed sensibly, the Clarity Review will say so and why.
Do you only work in Wollongong?
