E-LAB is a specialist engineering consultancy working across the built environment, bringing together technical rigour, scientific thinking and practical design intelligence. Their work supports architects, developers and project teams with the complex performance questions that shape how buildings function, feel and endure.

The identity began with a single geometric form: an E built as a structural module. It stacks, repeats and connects, echoing the logic of engineered systems. From there, the visual language extends across the website, guidelines, signage, print and collateral, creating a brand system that feels precise, flexible and built to last.

Summary

E-LAB came to us needing a brand that could stand alongside the quality of their engineering. We built a complete visual identity from the ground up: a bespoke geometric "E" mark, and a Webflow website driven by CMS collections for their team, sectors, projects and insights. Everything was documented in a brand guidelines set that the internal team and their partners could actually use, so the system keeps working long after we hand it over.

Task

E-LAB is a strategic engineering and science consultancy with offices across Sydney, Newcastle, the Gold Coast, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra and Bangkok, spanning eight specialist disciplines from sustainability and acoustics to fire, wind and human-centred design. The brand needed to carry all of that breadth and still feel like one clear voice.

We built the full identity around a geometric wordmark, then designed a Webflow site to match: custom CMS collections, motion and interaction built in GSAP, a responsive build tuned for every screen. The result is a brand that feels as confident and considered as the work it represents, holding together from the live site through to the guidelines that keep it consistent.
