About this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to STILL — Social Feed, Marketplace & Website Blocker, a Chrome extension created by DD Design.

It explains what information the extension processes, what stays on the user’s device, and how website permissions are used.

What STILL does

STILL replaces selected social feeds, discovery surfaces, Reels, Shorts, Facebook Marketplace browsing and user-chosen websites with an intentional pause screen.

Where the website structure allows it, useful features such as messages, search, profiles, direct posts, direct videos and practical tools remain available.

What STILL does not collect

STILL does not collect or transmit:

• Names, email addresses or account profiles
• Passwords or authentication credentials
• Private messages or form entries
• Browsing history
• Page content for analytics, profiling or advertising
• Advertising identifiers or behavioural profiles

Information stored locally

STILL stores functional settings in Chrome’s extension storage. These may include:

• Enabled platforms and blocker regions
• Light or dark appearance preference
• User-added custom domains
• Snooze expiry times
• Unlock-count state used to calculate the next intentional delay

This information is used only to provide the extension’s features. It is not sent to DD Design or a third-party database.

Website access and local processing

STILL requires access to supported websites so it can determine whether the current page contains a blocker region selected by the user.

The current page address and document structure are processed locally and transiently inside Chrome to apply or remove the blocker. STILL does not retain this information as a browsing-history record and does not transmit it to DD Design.

Custom website permissions

When a user adds a website under Custom URLs, Chrome asks the user to approve access to that specific domain.

That permission is used only to display the full-site STILL blocker, manage temporary access and restore the blocker when a snooze expires. STILL does not request access to every website during installation.

Users can disable or remove a custom domain from STILL Settings. Doing so removes the active blocker and the corresponding dynamic site registration.

Data sharing and selling

DD Design does not sell, rent, share or transfer personal information through STILL.

STILL does not use information for advertising, credit decisions, data brokerage or any purpose unrelated to its stated blocking and snooze functionality.

Remote services and code

STILL does not use analytics, advertising trackers, remote executable code or an external user database.

The extension’s interface and runtime code are packaged with the extension and execute locally in Chrome.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

STILL’s use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Information accessed through Chrome APIs is used only to provide and improve the user-facing blocking, permission, appearance and snooze features described in this policy.

Security and retention

STILL is designed to minimise data handling. Functional state remains in Chrome’s local extension storage until it is changed, cleared or the extension is removed.

Because STILL does not operate a remote user account or backend database, DD Design does not hold a server-side copy of the user’s settings or custom-domain list.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when STILL’s functionality, permissions or data practices change. Material updates will be reflected by changing the effective date shown at the top of this page.
